  4. As you might have noticed, Phase 5 and Escena both have announced
  5. G3 PowerPC Boards, which both use the WarpUP Kernel (also the one
  6. from Phase 5 !!!) and Amiga Inc. has announced PPC Native OS
  7. 4.0 with WarpUP !!!
  8.  
  9. This means the *death* for ppc.library !!!
  10.  
  11. Just too bad that A1200 PPC owners *still* have to mess around
  12. with Terminator-Settings. A solution is easy: Removal of ppc.library
  13. out of the FlashROM. For the A4000 Boards it is already like this
  14. since these Boards were released !!!

  16. Of course Termination works, but i think after the latest news
  17. there is no sense anymore for ppc.library being in ROM...

  19. So if you A1200 people want this too, i suggest to you to write an
  20. email to Phase 5 or to sign the "Free Choice" Petition which is
  21. available on the Haage&Partner WWW Site.

  23. Also, if you use a program which still uses ppc.library, write to
  24. the author and tell him the news, concerning the new PPC Board
  25. from Phase 5 and ask him for a WarpUP version of his program !!!
  26. At least i think doing so would be a good idea :)
